we exist at the overlap
overlap dallas is an experiment in urban connection, born from the belief that a city is only as vibrant as the strangers who choose to speak.
the urban wayfinder.
we build tools that force serendipity. by identifying physical "spots" where subcultures overlap, we create a map of permission—giving you a reason to stop, stay, and say hello.
how it started.
it began with a single orange table in deep ellum. no sign, no agenda, just a question: "what's something dallas doesn't know about you?"
what was meant to be a weekend social experiment turned into a movement. we realized that people weren't anti-social; they were just waiting for a signal. overlap dallas became that signal.
today, we are a platform and a physical network, finding the cracks in the city grid and fill them with community.
